PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Designed a project management tool for creators who were using three separate tools; task manager, cloud storage, and Slack or email for feedback and losing time to the gaps between them. The design question was not what to build. It was what to cut

THE PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM

Creators juggled multiple tools to manage projects: task managers for to-dos, cloud storage for files, and scattered feedback across email, Slack, and design tools. Context switching slowed work down and made it difficult to track project status. The challenge: consolidate essential workflows without building another bloated project management platform

KEY DECISIONS

KEY DECISIONS

I anchored the system around the review cycle, the moment a creator shares work and receives feedback. That flow linked directly to the relevant task and file, eliminating the manual coordination step. Everything that did not reduce a context switch that currently existed was cut. No DMs. No project wikis. No integrations beyond what the review flow required

SOLUTION

SOLUTION

Unified workspace combining task management, file reviews, and feedback. Review flow connects feedback directly to files and tasks. Essential features only: clear task states, inline commenting, version tracking

IMPACT

IMPACT

Three separate tools consolidated into one workflow. Feedback-to-task linkage eliminated the primary source of coordination overhead manually connecting feedback to the work it referenced. For creators managing 5-10 active projects, estimated 45-60 minutes per day saved on cross-tool coordination. 150+ screens delivered across 2-3 months with a team of 7. Fully developed
